Mindrum, 43, of Stratford was traveling north on I-95 just before 2 a.m. when his car veered off the right shoulder just south of exit 23, state police said. Man Charged With Trespassing After Driving Jeep Into Easton Reservoir EASTON, Conn. — An off-roading excursion ended in charges Monday when a West Haven man drove his Jeep into the Easton Reservoir, according to police. Oliver Preissler, 24, said he was four wheeling with a group of people when he entered private property to gain access to the Easton Reservoir entrance road, according to police. His Jeep became disabled a few feet from shore, police said. Preissler was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal trespass.
