Pedestrian Hit, Killed By Car In Greenwich ID'd As Elderly Port Chester Man GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Port Chester man in his 80s was struck and killed while crossing the street in Greenwich Monday night, according to police. The man was crossing West Putnam Avenue at the intersection with Western Junior Highway at around 6:30 p.m. when he was hit by a car and suffered serious injuries, police said.
