Missing 2-Year-Old Westport Boy Found Safe WESTPORT, Conn. -- A 2-year-old boy who had been reported missing out of Westport was found safe in Manhattan Friday, police said. Messiah Frazier, 2, was located at around 2:30 p.m. Friday at the home in Manhattan by the Westport Police Department. The boy was in good health, police said. He is being transported back to Connecticut and will be turned over to the Department of Children and Families. Fare Increases On Metro-North Trains Go Into Effect Thursday FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Fairfield County commuters taking Metro-North trains to New York or between stations in Connecticut can expect to pay higher fares beginning this week. The 6 percent train fare increase goes into effect beginning Thursday, Dec. 1. There will also be an increase in bus fares from $1.50 to $1.75, or 16.7 percent for CTTransit. Train riders can still take advantage of old prices by buying tickets ahead of time. Power Outage Closes Greenwich Town Hall GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich Town Hall is closed due to a power outage Tuesday afternoon, while hundreds of people through the town are without power. Greenwich Police announced on Twitter that a blown transformer knocked out power to Town Hall, and that the building will remain closed for the rest of the day. Eversource reported that 659 customers were without power as of 3 p.m., representing 2 percent of all customers in town.
