The busy day begins in the morning with free breakfasts for immigrant day laborers who gather outside Don Bosco looking for work. Man Charged With Felony Cocaine Possession In Rye RYE, N.Y. -- A man was arrested Wednesday night on felony drug charges in Rye after police said he was found with 2.3 pounds of cocaine in his car. Detective Emil Garcia, of the Westchester County Police, stopped a van on Playland Parkway for a traffic violation at 9:15 p.m., according to Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary. Port Chester Grocery Store Robbed At Gunpoint PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- A Port Chester grocery store was robbed at gunpoint Monday afternoon, according to police. Police received a panic alarm from El Paisano on Grace Church Street at around 3:30 p.m. Monday, according to Lt. James Ladeairous. When officers arrived, the manager told them a man had entered and forced her to open the cash registers. The district signed a memorandum of agreement with the Blind Brook-Rye Federation of Teachers, which represents 147 teachers, teaching assistants, guidance counselors, occupational therapists and speech pathologists.
