Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Worcester Man Charged In Connection With Fatal Overdose Of 36-Year-Old Woman A Worcester man is facing manslaughter charges in connection with the fatal overdose of a 36-year-old woman earlier this year, the Worcester County District Attorney's office reports.  Jonathan Delacruz is accused of selling drugs to the woman that caused her to fatally overdose on March 18, the office reports.  Investigators learned the woman ingested what she believed to be cocaine shortly before she became unresponsive. Woman With A 'Big Heart' ID'd As Victim Of Fatal Car Crash In Central Mass Authorities have identified a 62-year-old woman who died after being hit by a car in central Massachusetts as Debra Lavallee of Brimfield.  Lavallee was killed in a crash that happened in the area of 709 Main Street in Sturbridge around 1:20 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, according to Sturbridge Police.
