Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

35-Year-Old From Region Who Went Missing In Woods Found Dead A 35-year-old who went missing more than a week ago after last being seen getting a flat tire in the region has been found dead. Harold Hoyt was reported missing by a friend on Friday, March 31 after his truck had a flat tire, got stuck, and then ran out of gas in Sullivan County near the Camp Turrell Boy Scout Reservation on Galligan Road in the town of Forestburgh. Cooking Oil Thefts: Duo Accused After Incidents At 9 Nassau County Restaurants Two men have been accused of stealing cooking oil from nine different Long Island restaurants. Nassau County Police officers responded to a report of a larceny of used cooking oil in progress on Friday, April 7. Quadruple Murder Case: Former Police Officer In Northern Westchester Found Guilty A former police officer at several municipalities in Westchester and Dutchess counties has been convicted for the murders of four men in Orange County after a drug deal that went bad. Recall Issued For Brand Of Vacuum Cleaners Due To Fire Hazard A new recall has been issued for a brand of vacuum cleaners. Bissell has expanded a recall of cordless multi-surface wet-dry vacuums, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said. About 2,000 vacuum cleaners are subject to the expanded recall due to the risk the circuit board inside the vacuum’s battery pack can overheat and smoke, posing a fire hazard, the CPSC said.
