Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

The 25-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound on the 2800 block of Round Road at 11:11 a.m., Monday, June 13, according to Baltimore Police.  The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The body was recovered from the cove near the 1800 block of Annapolis Road, around 7:19 p.m., Sunday, June 12, according to Baltimore Police. Solar Panels Catch Fire On Roof Of Glenn Dale Building The roof of a commercial building in Glenn Dale is in flames from what officials believe were caused by multiple solar panels, authorities say. Firefighters were dispatched to contain the flames at the building on the 7100 block of Holladay Tyler Road at 4:29 p.m., according to the Prince George's Fire Department.
