Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Man Dies Of Injuries Suffered In 2018 Baltimore Shooting A shooting investigation has been upgraded to a homicide after a man died from his injuries nearly four years after being shot, authorities say. Autopsy results revealed that Meshach Daniel Dennis, 37, died on Oct. 14, 2021 from injuries he sustained in a shooting on Jan. 30, 2018, according to Baltimore Police.  Dennis was shot in the 4100 block of Groveland Avenue that winter day. Young Children Overdose At Baltimore Home: Report Detectives were investigating how two young children overdosed at a Baltimore home over the weekend, according to reports by CBS 13. A 4- and- 6-year old child were found suffering from an overdose at a home on the 1500 block of McHenry Street in the late night hours of Saturday, June 11, the outlet reports. Victim ID'd In Fatal Head-On Collision In Greenbelt The victim of a fatal crash over the weekend in Greenbelt has been identified, authorities say. Manuel Juarez, 52, was driving westbound on Greenbelt Road when an eastbound vehicle crossed into his lane striking him head-on near Lakecrest Drive around 7:40 a.m., Friday, June 10, according to Prince George's County Police.  Juarez was transported to a nearby hospital and succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
