Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Kavon Jackson, 29, is accused of killing Noelle Wilson, 31, on Oct. 11, 2020 on the 2300 block of Green Street. Carjacker Who Attacked Driver After Ride Rejection Arrested In White Marsh: Police The man who attacked a driver who declined giving him a lift and then stole his car in White Marsh has been arrested. Charles Hoffman, 35, approached the driver asking for a ride around 3:45 p.m. Sunday June 12 on the  5300 block of Nottingridge Road, Baltimore County police said. Man Dead After Early Morning Baltimore Shooting A man is dead after a sunrise shooting in Baltimore, authorities say. Officers found the victim after responding to reports of gunshots on the 2200 block of Ashton Street at 6:06 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, according to Baltimore Police.  The victim was suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.    Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
