Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Baltimore Man Arrested In Connection To April Killing A Baltimore man has been arrested in connection to an April killing, authorities say. Tavon Jamal Green, 22, was taken into custody for the slaying of Joshua Whittington, 22, on Wednesday, June 15, Baltimore Police say. Whittington was shot to death on the 1300 block of West Baltimore Street on April 2, 2022. Green has been charged with first-degree murder.

Man Killed In Violent Rear-End Collision In Baltimore County A man died in a violent late night collision in Baltimore, authorities say. Troy McNeil, 52, was killed after his 2019 Chevrolet Malibu rear-ended a 2012 Honda Pilot near a traffic signal on Washington Boulevard, according to Baltimore County Police. The driver of the northbound Honda Pilot was slowing down for the traffic signal when the impact occurred. McNeil was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Honda Pilot driver appeared uninjured.  The Baltimore County Police Crash Team continues to investigate this incident.

Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In I-695 Dump Truck Crash The victim in a fatal hit and run motorcycle incident in Baltimore has been identified as a Milford Mill man. Khary Tier Williams, 46 was operating a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle when he was allegedly struck by a dump truck pulling out of a construction site on the outer loop of I-695 at the I-70 exit around 11:45 p.m., Thursday, June 16, according to Maryland State Police. District Heights Man Strangled, Shot Victim During Argument: Police A District Heights man was arrested on accusations he strangled and shot his victim when an argument turned violent last month, authorities said. Devonte Jermaine Brooks was arrested on Thursday, June 9 after an arrest warrant was obtained for the May 15, 2022 attack on the 6100 block of Surrey Square Lane, according to Prince George's County Police.
