Westwood Melting Pot Holds 'Ugliest Sweater' Contest For St. Jude
WESTWOOD, N.J. -- The Melting Pot in Westwood is holding an ugly sweater contest that will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on Thursday, Dec. 10, beginning at 5 p.m. The event is $29.95 per person, and includes a $10 donation. Prizes will be given out to the winner. Food and drink specials, along with a raffle, will be part of the festivities. Reservations are recommended. Paramus Tree Lighting And Winter Wonderland Scheduled For Sunday
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Paramus will host its annual tree lighting and winter wonderland Sunday, Dec. 6, from 1 to 6 p.m. Mayor Richard LaBarbiera and the Paramus Council will host the event, which includes music, food, rides and a visit from Santa. WYCKOFF, N.J. -- Students at the Wyckoff YMCA are participating in the Red Cross’ Holiday Mail For Heroes program, in which cards are sent to military personnel around the world for the holidays. Local Red Cross offices coordinate the program with participating groups, ensuring the cards are collected and distributed. The Wyckoff Y is located at 691 Wyckoff Avenue. Take Part In Greenwich Holiday Stroll Weekend
GREENWICH, Conn. -- The 7th Annual Greenwich Holiday Stroll Weekend will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. The holiday event in downtown Greenwich will feature a live Nativity scene, professional ice sculpture demonstrations, 12 musical groups and horse-drawn carriage rides. Letter writing to Santa Claus, live reindeer and a number of special attractions at area stores and restaurants will also be included in the festivities.

Milford Police Investigate Third Teenage Girl Reported Missing In A Week
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The Milford Police Department Special Investigation Unit is investigating the whereabouts of the third teenage girl from the town who has gone missing in the last week. On December 1, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the Milford Police Department was contacted by the State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families in regards to a missing person complaint, according to police.
