Bloomingdale Library To Screen Holiday Movies BLOOMINGDALE, N.J. -- The Bloomingdale Free Public Library will offer a pair of Christmas movie screenings in December. First, the library will show the 2003 comedy "Elf," starring Will Ferrell, at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17. On Saturday, Dec. 26, the library will host a children's movie screening of "Elf: Buddy's Musical Christmas" at 10:30 a.m. The 2014 animated film is a spin-off of the original. Glen Rock DPW Continues Leaf Collection GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- The Glen Rock Department of Public Works curbside leaf collection that began in October has moved into District 4. Weather permitting, collection will continue through Dec. 31. Plans call for leaf collection to cycle through all eight districts, then repeat. While the department is attempting to get through one district per day, as more leaves fall and the piles get larger and heavier, doing so is not always possible.
