Monroe Library Serves Up Dinner And A Movie For Teens MONROE, Conn. -- The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe will host a teen “Dinner and a Movie Night,” on Friday, Dec. 11. Teens in grades 7 through 12 will enjoy macaroni and cheese and a film after-hours in the library. Registration is required, and limited to 16. The Stamford Police Department Financial Crimes Unit arrested Philliann Barnett on larceny and credit card theft charges on Tuesday, Dec. 1, officials report. Officers in the Financial Crimes Unit undertook the case and quickly discovered that Barnett had committed numerous acts of fraud, which led to losses of over $26,000 to her victim, police said.
