Agents made the discovery during a routine x-ray screening of the traveler’s carry-on bag Tuesday, Aug. 15, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced. Albany County resident Eric Edwards, of Watervliet, was sentenced to 25 years in prison in Albany County Court on Thursday, Aug. 17. Orange County resident Robert Everett, age 55, of Cuddebackville, was arrested in July 2023 for allegedly violating the state’s Environmental Conservation Law. Saratoga County resident Joseph Kohler, of Clifton Park, is facing multiple charges stemming from the alleged encounter, which occurred Saturday, Aug. 12, in the Town of Halfmoon. Man's Body Found In Capital Region Park; Cause Of Death Revealed Authorities have revealed the cause of death for a man whose body was found in a park in the region. The discovery was made shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, in Albany County at Cohoes’ Heart Avenue Park, located near Heartt and Park avenues. Cohoes Police said the 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His body showed no obvious signs of trauma and there was no indication of foul play, according to investigators.
