The 45-year-old Brentwood man, who prosecutors are not naming in order to protect the victim’s identity, was sentenced to 16 years in prison in Suffolk County Court on Thursday, March 14. Prosecutors said the abuse happened in July 2021 while the man was alone with his daughter at his apartment. Miguel Enrique Diaz, age 47, of Bay Shore, was arrested Wednesday, March 13, on suspicion of course of sexual conduct against a child.
