Norwalk Child Sexual Assault Suspect Captured In Tennessee, Returned To Connecticut: Police A 22-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile last year was captured in Tennessee and returned to Connecticut to face multiple felony charges, police said.  Henry “Anthony” Timal, of Norwalk, became the subject of an investigation that began on Oct. 12, 2025. Firefighters responded to the Danbury Lighthouse Ministries, 26 West St., around 4:30 p.m. Thursday after a caller reported the partial collapse, the Danbury Fire Department said. Pedestrian Killed On Route 202 In Torrington; Police Seek Witnesses A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in Connecticut, and police are asking for the public's help to gather more information.  The crash happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, near 1902 East Main Street, also known as Route 202, in Torrington. Police said a 2019 Subaru was traveling east when it struck the pedestrian. Officers pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Authorities have identified the pedestrian. Police are withholding the name until the victim’s family is notified.
