Missing Acton Man Found Dead In Central Mass Lake After 6-Month Search The body of a Central Massachusetts man who had been missing for nearly six months has been found. Leonard Mercury, 57, of Acton, was recovered from Crystal Lake in Gardner on Wednesday, March 25, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said. Gardner Police used drones to search the lake. During that aerial sweep, investigators spotted what appeared to be a body in the water. The Massachusetts State Police Dive Team then recovered the remains.
