Stamford Teen Charged With Killing Scooter Rider In Deadly Hit-Run Crash A Connecticut teenager has been charged after crashing into a man riding a scooter and fleeing the scene, leaving him to later die of his injuries, authorities said. Christian Dinamarca, 46, was struck by a 2011 BMW while riding along the 100 block of Hope Street in Stamford around 11 p.m. May 29, police said. The teen driver left before emergency crews arrived. 27-Year-Old Ansonia Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Telephone Pole; Police Release ID Police have released the name of a 27-year-old man killed earlier this week when his car struck a telephone pole. Adonis Lapuppet-Bligen, of Ansonia, crashed into the pole on Pershing Drive around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, police said. The crash happened between Clifton Avenue and Bridge Street. Lapuppet-Bligen was the sole occupant of the vehicle. An autopsy determined the Ansonia man died from blunt-force trauma, police said. The Ansonia Police Department continues to investigate.
