Jamez Eduardo Perez Arauz, 28, was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest after officers responded to the 800 block of Main Street in Willimantic at about 1:42 a.m. Sunday, May 11, according to Willimantic police. Franklin Sousa-Filho was driving a Lexus LS400 when it crashed into a pole on W. Ritch Avenue around 2:10 a.m. Sunday, May 10, according to Greenwich police. Police said an officer monitoring Delavan Avenue for speeding drivers spotted the Lexus traveling 50 mph in a 25-mph zone.
