A Farmingville pair was indicted for allegedly selling fentanyl and cocaine out of a Jamaican restaurant in Shirley, authorities announced on Wednesday, March 18.
Carlton Williams, 58, and Rohan Rose, 47, are accused of running a drug operation out of Williams’ restaurant, Stop n Nyamm, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.

A New York teaching assistant and high school sports coach was arrested for raping a teen girl he met through school, state police said Wednesday, March 18.
Jared Baldizon, a 27-year-old Albany man, was charged with third-degree rape and third-degree criminal sexual act, both felonies, authorities said. Cops began investigating the case on Friday, March 6, after receiving reports of a past sexual abuse of a child.
