A Long Island community college professor was indicted Friday, April 10 for attempting to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex, authorities said.
Philip Schuler, 53, was a history professor at Suffolk County Community College prior to his arrest in January. Schuler, of Port Jefferson, sent pictures of his penis and graphic text messages to an FBI agent posing as a 13-year-old girl, according to the Justice Department.

Cops said Richard Carter, a 49-year-old Valley Stream man, stepped outside after the service ended at the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York on Friday, April 10, according to WCBS.
