Man Sexually Assaulted Minor: Cape May Prosecutor A 33-year-old Woodbine man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a minor, authorities announced Wednesday, Jan. 28. On Monday, Dec. 29, an investigation began into the sexual assault of a minor, resulting in charges filed against Brandon Anderson, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey  Sutherland said. Anderson is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a minor and endangering the welfare of a child, Sutherland said. He was processed and is currently being held at the Cape May County Correctional Center, pending further court proceedings, authorities said.

Man Killed In Folsom Fire: Njsp A 77-year-old Atlantic County man was killed in a house fire on Tuesday, Jan. 27, authorities said. At 5:08 p.m., troopers responded to a structure fire at a residence on South River Road in Folsom Boro, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The residence was filled with smoke when the trooper arrived and one of the residents, Carl Underwood, was transported to an area hospital for further treatment and was pronounced dead, Lebron said. No other injuries were reported, Lebron said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Lebron said.
