Two People Found Dead In Wildwood Crest Home: Prosecutor A man and a woman were found dead in a home in Wildwood Crest on Wednesday, Jan. 7, authorities said. Wildwood Crest police responded to the 300 block of East Atlanta Avenue where they discovered the dead bodies, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and Wildwood Crest Police Chief Robert Lloyd said. While the incident remains under investigation, there is no threat to the public, authorities said. The identities of the deceased have not been released, authorities said.

The 72-year-old woman was contacted by Donald Johnson, Jr., and falsely told she had won a $5.5 million Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes, Michigan State Police said. Power Outage In Summit (Developing) A power outage has been reported throughout the city of Summit on Wednesday morning, Jan. 7, authorities said. "Electricity is out throughout the city," the City of Summit Press Office said.  The outage was caused by Jersey Central Power and Light having a power failure, authorities said.
