Homicide: AC Woman Found Dead, Prosecutors Say A 34-year-old Atlantic City woman's death is being investigated as a homicide, authorities announced Monday, Oct. 13. At 10:08 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, Atlantic City police responded to the 2000 block of Sheridan Avenue and found Christina Burdette unresponsive, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. Burdette was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. An autopsy determined her death was a homicide, authorities said. The cause of death remains under investigation, authorities said.  The incident remains under investigation, authorities said.

Barn Engulfed In Flames In Warren County: FD Multiple agencies responded to a barn fire in Warren County on Saturday, Oct. 11. At 2:24 p.m.,  several fire departments responded to the 200 block of Main Street in Port Murray and found the barn fire already on fire, the Mansfield Township Fire Company No. 1. said. An additional alarm was transmitted, brining multiple agencies from Warren County to the scene to assist in fighting the fire, firefighters said. The fire was eventually brought under control at 5 p.m., firefighters said. The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation, firefighters said.

Man Shot At Maple Shade Bar: Police A man was shot at a bar in Maple Shade early Sunday morning, Oct. 12, authorities said. At 2:04 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot of Jay's Elbow Room Bar at 2806 Route 73 for a report of a shooting, Maple Shade police and the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said.  Soon after, police were notified a man had arrived at Cooper University Hospital with a single gunshot wound, authorities said.
