Finals Weigh Heavily on Darien Kids Darien High School junior Niya Wright had been studying for more than four hours. Books, binders and papers littered her desk as she desperately tried to ace one final set of tests. But it wasn't easy. "Finals have been in the back of my mind for the last three weeks, and now that it's actually finals week all I can think about is them," Wright said. "There's so much to do; to say I'm stressed is putting it lightly." Wednesday marks the last day of finals for Darien High, with Thursday designated for students to make up any tests they missed. Prom Photos Finger Darien Burglar Close examination of Darien High School prom photos last week revealed the perpetrator of an April burglary. The victim had left his apartment unlocked on April 15 and returned home to find $6,600 missing, including a $1,995 Invicta watch. He believed the burglar must have been a neighbor because someone unfamiliar with the apartment would likely have been scared away by his dogs. The victim began conducting his own investigation, and while looking through photos from the prom he noticed one of his teenage neighbors wearing the same Invicta watch that had been stolen. He contacted the polic…

"It's tough," Lindstrom said as he got off the train Thursday evening and detoured over the bridge on Hollow Tree Ridge Road to get to his apartment at Avalon. "Especially when there are track changes like this morning, when you have 100 people running back and forth, …
