Batman Comes To Darien Batman Comes To Darien Batman Comes To Darien
Batman Comes To Darien Keep your eyes peeled for the Dark Knight around Darien. This vintage Batmobile, modeled after the car from the classic '60s television show starring Adam West, was spotted at the Gulf Station on the corner of the Post Road and Corbin Drive early Friday morning. Employees at the station said that a man from New York City had dropped the car off while he went to go get some things done, which this reporter is guessing means he's putting a stop to some nefarious plan by the Joker. Have you seen the Batmobile driving around Darien on Friday? Tell us where you spotted it on Facebook and Twitter!

Johnny's Brings Vinyl Back On Record Store Day Johnny Konrad of Johnny's Records in Fairfield County says that listening to the Beatles on mp3 is like wearing a raincoat in the shower. For the best music experience, listeners should stop by his Darien shop on Record Store Day -- which is Saturday, officially -- and pick up vinyl recordings of their favorite music. "It's the right format for music. The artwork on a 12-1/2-by-12-1/2 record is gorgeous. It just has a certain charm to it," Konrad said. Record Store Day started four years ago to celebrate independent record stores and the art of music. Record companies are releasing special …
