Lou DeMaio Left His Heart in Green Bay Lou DeMaio Left His Heart in Green Bay Lou DeMaio Left His Heart in Green Bay
Lou DeMaio Left His Heart in Green Bay Lou DeMaio became a Green Bay Packers fan watching them play the Dallas Cowboys in 1967, and he has never switched allegiances. While most of his friends rooted for the New York teams, DeMaio's heart remained true to the Packers. "My favorite teams are the Knicks, Yankees, Rangers and Green Bay,'' says Lou, a Stamford native and long-time sports official. "Isn't that weird?" DeMaio will be in his glory Sunday rooting for the Packers as they meet the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV. He'll watch the game at his home with a few friends. Fortunately, he won't have to leave his house to …

Instead, competitors rowed 2,000 meters on ergometers. Fans monitored the competition on a large screen, which showed where the rowers stood on the course. "These guys are very competitive,'' said Sharon …
