Norwalk 12U Softball Team Ends Season At Ussa World Series NORWALK, Conn. -- The 12U Norwalk TL Elite fastpitch softball team ended its season by playing in the USSSA 12U World Series last week in East Hartford. The girls competed against teams from Pennsylvania, Illinois, Delaware, Virginia, New York and New Jersey. Tryouts for the 2016 14-and-under team will be held Sunday, Aug. 9, from 10-12 p.m. at Norwalk High School. Tryouts will also be held on Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 6-8 p.m. at the high school. Hillary Clinton Gets Health OK From Mount Kisco Medical Group Physician WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Chappaqua's Hillary Clinton is in excellent physical condition, according to a physician from Mount Kisco Medical Group, as she prepares for a run at the presidency. Dr. Lisa Bardack, chair of internal medicine at MKMG, said in a story on Politico.com that Clinton “is in excellent physical condition to serve as President of the United States.” Bardack is affiliated with Northern Westchester Hospital. David Henry O'Neill, 88, Longtime Wilton Resident WILTON, Conn. -- David Henry "Hank" O'Neill Jr., 88, died after a brief illness on Thursday, July 23, at the Twin Lakes Retirement Community in Burlington, N.C. He was a longtime resident of Wilton. O'Neill was born in Memphis, Tenn., on Sept. 25, 1926, the son of David Henry O'Neill Sr. and Emily Vaughan O'Neill. He was commissioned as an ensign in the Naval Reserve in 1947. He earned a B.S.E.E. at Duke University, an M.B.A. at the University of Connecticut, and a Ph.D. in behavioral science at California American University.
