Darien Girl Selected As Honoree For Jingle Bell Run To Fight Arthritis DARIEN, Conn. -- Darien's Erin Edgar was selected as the Youth Honoree for the Jingle Bell Walk/Run for Arthritis on Saturday, Dec. 13 in Purchase, N.Y. Erin, the 12-year-old daughter of Dawn and Pat Edgar, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in June 2013. Arthritis affects one in five adults (50 million) and 300,000 children. Two-thirds of adults with arthritis are under the age of 65. When Erin was diagnosed last year, she was in incredible pain, barely able to make it down the stairs in the morning and "was melting away in front of our eyes,'' according to a letter sent to friend…

A.R. Gurney's 'Love And Money' Debuts In Westport Next Year WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport Country Playhouse will stage the world premiere comedy, “Love and Money" as part of its 2015 season. The play is written by A.R. "Pete" Gurney, one of the most-produced playwrights in the theater’s history.
