Greenwich United Way Hosts Annual Wiffle Tournament GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich United Way hosted 60 teams for the annual Town Wiffle Tournament on Saturday, July 26, at the Greenwich Polo Club. The tournament, in its seventh year, reached its capacity of teams. It got its start when a group of teens began pressing for a place to play Wiffle ball in town.  They solidified their cause, learned how to advocate effectively and forged community partnerships with businesses, town government, the United Way, the JR United Way, the Greenwich Police, and other sympathetic parties to run the event.
