Harvey School Athletes Earn League Recognition KATONAH, N.Y. -- Several Harvey School varsity athletes earned recognition from their respective leagues in the winter sports season. The Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) has recognized two of Harvey’s hockey players while the Housatonic Valley Athletic League (HVAL) honored three Cavaliers on both the boys and girls basketball squads. Redding On Alert After Bethel Girl Reports Being Chased At School Bus Stop FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Security concerns for school students were heightened in the Redding and Danbury area after a Bethel girl reported being chased by a man after getting off a bus on Putnam Park Road on Monday afternoon. Betty Sclocco, 80, Lifelong Ossining Resident OSSINING, N.Y. -- Betty Sclocco, a lifelong resident of Ossining died on March 3. She was 80. Sclocco was born in Ossining on Aug. 28, 1933, the daughter of Elizabeth Knowlton and Joseph F. Haggerty, Sr. She was employed many years at Pace University Environmental Center in Pleasantville. Betty is survived by her daughter, Gail Sclocco, a sister, Jean (William) Maguire, and several nieces and nephews.
