Mistletoe Magic, A Family Festival, Comes To Rye On Sunday RYE, N.Y. – Mistletoe Magic, a family festival hosted by the Rye Chamber of Commerce, ushers in the holiday season on Sunday, Dec. 1. The festival runs from noon to 3 p.m. on Purchase Street in Rye. Among the attractions are a gingerbread bouncy house, horse drawn carriage rides, train rides, a farmers market, musical performances and a visit from Santa. Darien 8th Graders Win League Championship DARIEN, Conn. – The Darien eighth-grade football team defeated Wilton, 26-7, to win the Fairfield County Football League championship Saturday at Darien High School. Darien finished the season 10-1 and cruised through the playoffs, outscoring opponents 61-27. Darien’s defense limited opponents to eight points or less in nine of the 11 games. 4 Wilton Running Club Members Qualify For Nationals WILTON, Conn. – Four runners from the Wilton Running Club qualified for the Junior Olympic cross country national championships in a race Sunday in New York.
