Terry Conners Synchronized Skating Open Comes To Stamford In December STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Skating Club of Southern Connecticut of Stamford will host the 14th annual Terry Conners Synchronized Skating Open the weekend of Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 at Terry Conners Rink in Stamford. Darien Eighth-Graders Advance In Football Playoffs DARIEN, Conn. – The Darien White eighth-grade football team defeated Wilton Blue, 14-8, to reach the semifinals of the Fairfield County Football League playoffs. Darien will play Fairfield Black in the semifinals Sunday at Darien High School. The championship game will be played the weekend of Nov. 23 to 24. Darien White improved to 8-1 and beat Wilton for the second time this season. Darien won 20-6 earlier this year. Darien also beat Fairfield, 6-0, earlier in the season.
