Darien White 8th Graders Fall To Westport DARIEN, Conn. – The Darien White 8th grade football team lost its first game of the season Sunday with a 22-18 setback to Westport North in a Fairfield County Football League game. Darien had allowed only 24 points all season before losing to Westport, which has won four straight games. Westport is 5-2 overall while Darien fell to 6-1. Darien finishes the regular season on Sunday with a home game against Ridgefield Orange. Norwalk River Rowing Pulls In Collection Of Fall Medals NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk rowers are showing strong results this fall season, bringing home many medals for Norwalk River Rowing through the lion’s share of the season’s regattas. Sept. 29 found Norwalk River Rowing at the Head of the Merrimack in Methuen, Mass., at a regatta with 148 entries from 27 clubs from seven states. North Stamford Exchange Club Plans Wine Tasting To Aid Community Fund STAMFORD, Conn. Norwalk Marching Bears Head To Syracuse On Winning Streak NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk High School Marching Bears won big Saturday night in Shelton -- a victory that sets them up for a trip to the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, N.Y.
