Dorothy Richardson, 88, Former Yonkers Resident YONKERS, N.Y. -- Dorothy C. (Jones) Richardson, who was born and raised in Yonkers, died on Sept. 16 in Tampa, Fla. She was 88. Richardson was born Aug. 25, 1925 and was the daughter of William and Lillian (nee’ Gillen) Jones. She was a student at Gorton High School. Dorothy married Alexander C. Richardson on June 30, 1951. Dorothy was also an active member of A.M.E. Zion Trinity Place in Yonkers. After leaving Yonkers in 1962, she frequently returned to visit family and loved ones. Armonk Race Re-Named To Honor Jamie Love ARMONK, N.Y. – Jamie Love enjoyed running and the North Castle Public Library so attaching his name to a road race in Armonk seems like a perfect fit.
