Somers Manor, Pharmacy Partner To Ease Pill Fill Process SOMERS, N.Y. – Somers Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center has partnered with Somers Pharmacy to make it easier to fill prescriptions. In the new partnership, a 30-day supply of current medications will be filled by Somers Pharmacy, and sent home upon discharge. Residents can then get renewals through the pharmacy of choice after the initial 30 day supply. This partnerships represents an effort to identify and address problems in the filling process such as co-payments needed, medications not covered by insurance and other issues prior to discharge. Swim Across America In Stamford Nets $485K STAMFORD, Conn. – Swimmers in the seventh annual Swim Across America Greenwich-Stamford Open Water Swim on Saturday raised more than $485,000 for cancer research. The swim included 186 participants and 80 land, kayak and boat volunteers.
