Westchester Area Realtors Fashion Show Nets $22K For Charity WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. --  The Women’s Council of Realtors, Empire Westchester Chapter  and the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors raised $22,522 for the Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless at its “Brown Bag for Hunger” Spring Fashion Show  at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle.   The figure represents a $4,200 increase over last year’s donation.  The population of people in need of help in Westchester County has risen more than 24 percent in the past year. New Rochelle Hosts 1-Mile Race On June 9 NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The North Avenue Mile, a new event hosted by NewRo Runners, will be held on June 9. The race begins at 9 a.m. with age appropriate wave starts. The race benefits the City of New Rochelle in honor of its 325th birthday. The race begins at Paine Cottage and finishes in front of City Hall. The top three men and women will win awards, along with the top three in male and female age divisions.
