Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Fatal Hit-Run Crash Reported On Route 9 In Central Jersey: Developing A fatal hit-and-run crash was being investigated in Central Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred along Route 9 near Ferry Road in Old Bridge at about 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15, initial reports said.  The victim was a middle-aged man, an unconfirmed report said. Woman Killed In Route 9 Crash On Jersey Shore: Prosecutor A woman was killed in a crash along Route 9 in Marlboro Township, authorities said. On Sun. Feb. 13 at 2:22 a.m., a 2019 Cadillac XT5 traveling southbound on Route 9, collided with a 2018 Nissan Altima at the intersection on the southbound side of Route 9 and Route 520, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. Mark Huff, 58, was sentenced on Thursday, Feb. 10, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill.
