Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

'Lost For Words': Victim Killed In Camden Shooting Was Loved By Many A community in Camden County is mourning the loss of a 31-year-old man killed in a weekend shooting. Kadeem McBride was shot on the 2700 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue around 3:55 p.m. in Camden, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez. Shooting Investigated In Central Jersey: Prosecutor Authorities are investigating a shooting that took place in Perth Amboy. On Friday, Feb. 11 at 5:24 P.M., Perth Amboy police responded to the train tracks near New Brunswick Avenue for a shooting.  Police found Jonathan Molina, 22, of Perth Amboy with a gunshot wound, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Acting Chief Larry Cattano of the Perth Amboy Police Department. Man, 34, Shot Dead In Atlantic County: Prosecutor A 34-year-old man was shot to death in Atlantic County, authorities said. NJ Men Indicted In Deadly House Party Shooting Two men from South Jersey have been indicted in a double-shooting that left one victim dead and another wounded during a party, according to NJ Advance Media. Kiyon B. Johnson, 22, of Salem, and Rayneer T. Foster, 25, of Penns Grove, were indicted by a Salem County grand jury for first-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses, the outlet said. Bryant Banks, 23, of Salem City, died after being shot on Oct. 2, 2020. A man from Carneys Point Township and Johnson also were wounded in the clash.
