Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

At 8:42 p.m., Gloucester County Communications received a 9-1-1 call from a man reporting he had been shot on South Academy Street, according to Glassboro police. Monmouth County Hazmat Team Responds To Propane Leak: Developing Firefighters and a Monmouth County hazardous materials team were called to a serious crash in Central Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred about 1 p.m. Wednesday at South Street and South Holmdel Road in Holmdel, initial reports said. There was a leak in a 100-gallon propane tank as well as a hydraulic fluid spill, according to an unconfirmed report.
