Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Motorist, 54, Killed On NJ Turnpike In Central Jersey A 54-year-old motorist from Monmouth County was killed when his car rear-ended a tractor-trailer, authorities said. The crash occurred at 7:07 p.m. Thursday, off the New Jersey Turnpike in Woodbridge Township, according to State Police. Philadelphia Suspect Robbed South Jersey Gas Station At Gunpoint, Caught Fleeing: Police A 19-year-old man from Philadelphia was arrested while fleeing an armed robbery at a Sunoco station in South Jersey, authorities said. Lamar Morrison was captured by Egg Harbor Township police at the Fire Road Apartments, police said.   Morrison allegedly held up the gas station on Fire Road in the Farmington section of town at 5:35 p.m, Tuesday, police said.
