Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Nicholas Reed, 34, Worked As Accountant, Chef Nicholas Matthew Reed, 34, of Asbury Park, died Thursday in Trenton.  He worked as an accountant as well as a chef, his obituary says.  He was born in Red Bank in 1987 and grew up in Marlboro.  He earned a Master's Degree in Business from Rutgers University. In addition to his work as an accountant, he was a chef for Mogo. Nicholas enjoyed music, history, soccer, swimming, walking and spending time with friends and family. Robert Clarkin, 52, Longtime Brick Plumber Enjoyed Kayaking Robert V. Clarkin of Brick, a lifelong plumber who enjoyed kayaking, died on Oct. 18. He was 52. Mr. Clarkin was born in Levittown, Pennsylvania, but spent most of his life in Brick, his obituary says.  He worked as a plumber for 35 years.  Robert enjoyed helping others and was always there when someone needed him. Atlantic City Woman, 54, Struck Dead By Car: Report A 54-year-old woman was struck and killed while trying to cross a Pleasantville highway, NJ Advance Media reported. Janelle Oliver of Atlantic City was in the eastbound lanes of West Black Horse Pike near Noahs Road when the crash occurred, the outlet said. She was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City where she was pronounced dead.
