Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Ocean County Trio Charged In Cocaine Bust, Tampering With Evidence Brick Township police arrested three people during a warranted search. A police department spokesman said the suspects were "found  destroying evidence at the time officers entered the residence." Arrested on Friday for possession of cocaine charges and for tampering with evidence were:  Shamaar Strand, 37, from Brick; Katherine Reyes, 30, from Brick; and Isaiah Cruz, 24, from Rockaway, Queens.  All three were released on summonses, according to Sgt. James Kelly.

Armed Bank Robber In Central Jersey Carried Clipboard Police were called to an armed bank robbery in Monmouth County. The robbery was reported about 3 p.m. at the Colts Neck branch of Manasquan Bank at 330 Route 34, according to initial reports.   The robbery suspect was wearing all black except for a red face mask, reports said.  He was armed with a handgun.
