Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Authorities ID South Jersey Motorcyclist, 54, Killed In Fatal Route 70 Crash Authorities have identified the motorcyclist killed in a collision on Route 70 in Camden County. Richard Sims, 54, of Cherry Hill, collided with a Chrysler PT Cruiser about 4 p.m. on Thursday and was ejected, police said. Sims was pronounced dead shortly after the crash. The fatal came occurred in the eastbound lanes of state Route 70 near South Harvard Avenue in Cherry Hill, according to initial reports.

The fire broke out about 5 p.m. at 122 Lowell Street in Carteret.   First responders found Mark Levinzon, 75, of Carteret inside the residence.
