An 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed after striking a sedan and colliding with two pedestrians on State Route 9L in Queensbury, New York, on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025, State Police announced on Monday.
Investigators determined that a sedan traveling southbound on Route 9L was turning left into a business when the motorcycle, operated by Austin L. Pagan of Queensbury, attempted to pass it on the left and struck the vehicle, according to police.
Pagan was ejected from the motorcycle, suffered severe injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

Matthew R. Hirsch was pronounced dead at 12:34 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, according to the coroner’s office.

Michael Anthony Fisher, Jr., a Bordentown resident, died on Wednesday, Aug. 6, nine days before his 21st birthday on Aug. 15, after he was hit by someone making an illegal turn while he was riding his motorcycle home, his family said.
