Have You Seen These Men? Norwalk Police Seek Suspects In Deli Burglary NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Police are searching for two men who broke into a deli on Winfield Street last weekend. The burglary at Jesus Deli and Grocery, located at 81 Winfield St., took place at 12:36 a.m. on Sunday, May 21. A witness described the two suspects as Latino men, between the ages of 20 and 30 years old, police said. Greenwich Woman Charged With Delivering Threatening Note To Students GREENWICH, Conn. — A Greenwich woman was charged with delivering a threatening note to Greenwich High School students in March, according to Greenwich Time. Police told Greenwich Time that 40-year-old Latoya Forbes came to school grounds on March 31 and gave the note to a group of students. While police did not tell Greenwich Time what the note specifically said, they said it contained a threat and was made to look like it was written by a young person. Darien Teen Rallies To Help Friend Seriously Injured By Fallen Tree DARIEN, Conn. — A Darien teen is raising money for her friend who was seriously injured when a tree fell on them both at Woodland Park earlier this month. The two 18-year-olds, Claire Borecki and JP Documet, were walking through Woodland Park on May 15 when the tree fell on the two of them. Though Borecki managed to escape with a few bruises, Documet suffered much more serious injuries, including a spinal injury, broken ribs and a punctured lung. Suspects In Westport, Fairfield Car Burglaries Lead Police On Chase WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Stratford man and a Bridgeport man were arrested after leading police on a chase following smash and grab car burglaries in Westport and Fairfield Monday afternoon, according to police. Police responded to the Stop & Shop on Post Road East at around 4:30 p.m. on a report from a witness who said they had seen two Hispanic males smash the car window, remove a purse and leave in a gray BMW sedan. Fugitive Arrested In New Canaan After Giving Cop Fake ID NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A fugitive wanted out of New Jersey was arrested in New Canaan after police said he gave a fake ID during a traffic stop. An officer pulled over a car for speeding on Gerdes Road near Conrad Road at around 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. The officer requested identification from both the driver and the passenger, and later determined that the passenger had handed over a fraudulent Maryland ID, according to police. Stratford Man, 25, Charged With Strangling Woman, Threatening To Kill Her MILFORD, Conn. -- A Stratford man was charged with strangulation and assault in a domestic violence incident in Milford over the weekend. Police were called to a home on Merwin Avenue in Milford on a report of a possible domestic violence incident at around 7 p.m. Sunday. State Police Report 3 Fatalities, Thousands Of Tickets Over Holiday Weekend FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Connecticut State Police investigated two crashes that killed three people over Memorial Day weekend, and handed out more than 2,000 tickets. One of the two crashes occurred on I-91 southbound on Friday. The crash occurred near exit 24 in Rocky Hill and left two people dead. Redding Firefighters, EMS Revive Patient Who Collapsed At Joel Barlow REDDING, Conn. -- Redding first responders revived someone who stopped breathing and had no pulse at the Joel Barlow High School tennis courts earlier this month. The Redding 911 Communication Center received a call at 5:09 p.m. on May 8 that a person was experiencing a medical emergency at the school's tennis courts. When emergency units were responding, it was reported that the patient had stopped breathing and a pulse could not be found.
