Steven M. Flood, 32, of 26 Candlewood Road, was charged with felony murder, murder committed in the course of sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault in a spousal or cohabiting relationship, third-degree larceny and third-degree criminal trespass. The man had met his assailant over social media, and made arrangements to meet up and buy a cell phone from him, the Hour reported. They met at around 1:48 p.m. on Novak Street in Norwalk, but when the victim got his money out to buy the phone, the seller instead knocked him down, hit him and took his money, police told the Hour. Jury Finds Bridgeport Man Guilty Of Manslaughter In Danbury Shooting DANBURY, Conn. -- A Bridgeport man accused of killing a man outside a Danbury nightclub in 2014 was found not guilty of murder, but was found guilty of manslaughter charges, according to the News Times. Garfield Sanderson had been arrested in connection with the May 3, 2014 killing of Jeliel Kingston of Bridgeport after a fight at the Mambo Cafe on Elm Street in Danbury, police said.
