Community Rallies To Help Family Of Norwalk Woman Killed In Murder-Suicide NORWALK, Conn. -- Those who wish to support the family of a Norwalk woman killed in an apparent murder-suicide this past weekend can help contribute to the cost of her final expenses. Melissa Wilkinson was killed Sunday at the age of 33 at her Wilton Avenue apartment. Police said that the incident appeared to be a murder-suicide carried out by her father, 55-year-old Mark Wilkinson, who shot himself shortly after during a standoff with police. Bridgeport Man Charged With Selling Crack In Stamford STAMFORD, Conn. — A Bridgeport man with a history of drug convictions was charged with selling crack to an undercover police officer in Stamford on Thursday, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police told the Stamford Advocate that 32-year-old Jerrell Cook, who is out on parole, was arrested after a weeks-long investigation carried out by the Stamford Police Department. Police said that he sold crack to an undercover officer, and was arrested with a large amount of cocaine and more than $1,000 in cash, according to the Stamford Advocate. Heavy Rain Could Bring Flooding To New Canaan FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The National Weather Service is warning that areas of Fairfield County could see some flooding Friday as a result of heavy rain. Police: Former Norwalk Principal Stole $20K From Student Activity Fund NORWALK, Conn. — A Darien resident and former principal of Jefferson Magnet School in Norwalk is accused of stealing more than $20,000 from a student activity fund, according to the Hour. Second Arrest Made In Wilton Bank Robbery WILTON, Conn. — A convicted bank robber was arrested Wednesday in connection with the Feb. 24 robbery of the Fairfield County Bank in Wilton. Spero Moschos, 36, of Stamford was charged with second-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery. He was arrested at the Norwalk Superior Court and held on a $150,000 bond. Moschos is the second person arrested in connection with the robbery at the bank, which is located at 941 Danbury Road in Wilton.
