Thief Drives Off With $50K Porsche Left In Darien Driveway With Keys Inside DARIEN, Conn. -- A $50,000 Porsche was stolen out of a Darien driveway this weekend after the owners left it unlocked with the keys inside, according to police. Police were called to a home on Oak Crest Drive at around 9:12 a.m. Sunday on a report of a stolen motor vehicle. When officers arrived, they spoke with the owner who reported last seeing the car parked in the driveway at around 10:30 p.m. the previous night. Trumbull Mall Salesman Charged With Making Lewd Comments To Underage Girls TRUMBULL, Conn. -- A salesman at the Trumbull mall was arrested and charged with sexual assault after police said he made inappropriate comments to two underage girls and touched one of them, according to the Connecticut Post. Brush Fire Risks Rise As Temps Heat Up In New Canaan FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- High temperatures and dry conditions could increase the risk for brush and forest fires throughout Fairfield County on Tuesday, though some rain could move into the area Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to warm into the 70s, and possibly into the 80s in some portions of the county on Tuesday, which will be sunny. Police: Woman Stole From Monroe Medical Office MONROE, Conn. -- A Derby woman was charged with embezzling money from a Monroe medical practice where she worked as a receptionist, according to police. Police said that the investigation into 44-year-old Rita Orchano began in early March 2016. Orchano worked as a front desk receptionist at the medical practice, where part of her responsibilities included processing insurance copayments and payments for patients without insurance, police said. Man Charged With Groping Teen At Fairfield Fireworks Gets Probation FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- A Redding man who was charged with groping a 14-year-old at a fireworks show in Fairfield last year will receive probation and won't have to register as a sex offender, according to the Connecticut Post. Fairfield Police launched a search for 54-year-old Harry Metz after he photobombed the girl's selfie after the fireworks show last year and groped her, according to police reports. Bond Set At $2M For Dad in Bridgeport Murder Case That Led To Amber Alert BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A Bridgeport man charged with fatally stabbing his girlfriend and kidnapping his daughter in a case that led to a multi-state chase in February appeared in court Monday, where his bond was set at $2 million, according to the Connecticut Post. Westport Lifeguard Charged With Filming Co-Workers Gets Probation WESTPORT, Conn. — A former Westport lifeguard accused of filming his female co-workers will receive five years probation and a suspended jail sentence after pleading guilty to five counts of voyeurism, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police: Greenwich Man Threw Stink Bomb Against Door GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Greenwich man was arrested after police said he threw a stink bomb at someone's door last week. Police were called to a home in western Greenwich on Friday on a report of a disorderly subject. When they arrived, they spoke to someone who told them that 23-year-old John Robert Kiley had banged on her door, causing her to fear for her safety, police said. He also broke a glass stink bomb against her door, according to police. Kiley was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was unable to post a $1,000 bond and was given a court date of Monday.

Trumbull's Herbst, Gubernatorial Hopeful, Diagnosed With Thyroid Cancer TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull First Selectman Timothy Herbst has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, but expects to make a recovery, according to the Hartford Courant.
