Westport Police Arrest Norwalk Man Hanging Off Tow Truck WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport police arrested a man who they say tried to stop a tow truck driver from moving his disabled vehicle last week. At around 4:35 p.m. on Friday a Westport police officer responded to the area of Wilton Road and Ivy Knoll in reference to a disabled motor vehicle. The officer arrived to find a disabled motor vehicle blocking one lane of travel on Wilton Road, police said. Police: NY Men Caught Stealing Oil From 2 Danbury Restaurants DANBURY, Conn. — Two Yonkers men were charged with stealing oil from two Danbury restaurants after the owner of one of the restaurants caught them, according to police. On March 2 the restaurateur who had been victimized staked out his restaurant and saw two men stealing his used oil, police said.
